The challenge will be played in Palmerston North during National Championships week - Saturday 6 June - Saturday 13 June, exact dates to be confirmed.

Nominations are open to all affiliated members of NZIB with the exception of the 2026 Mat Blacks representatives and 2025 North and South Island representatives.

​​​​​​​Team Managers are sought for the 2026 Academy and Masters Teams and the North Island vs South Island Match Teams

The Academy and Masters challenge will be played in Palmerston North during National Championships week - Saturday 6 June - Saturday 13 June, exact dates to be confirmed.

The North Island vs South Island Match will be played in Whakatane on Saturday 1st August 2026.

DISTRICT CHALLENGE - WARNES TROPHY

Entries are now OPEN for the 2026 District Challenge to be played during National Championships week, exact date TBC.
