Caleb Hope and Hannah Wilson from James Hargest College have won the gold medal in the Pairs at the New Zealand Secondary Schools Indoor Bowls Championships at Titahi Bay in North Wellington.
They beat Seamus Curtin and Finbar McGuigan from Aotea College 11-4 in the final. Curtin and McGuigan received the silver medal.
The bronze medal was won by Liam McLean and Tyler Gullery from Hawera High School who beat Aidan Zittersteijn and Ryan Vincent 11-3 in the play-off for third and fourth.
In the plate final Todd Soothill and Nicole Bennett from Hawera High School beat Stacey James and Jayreeve Mose from Western Heights High School 11-4 .
The Player of the Tournament award went to Aidan Zittersteijn who won the singles and finished fourth in the pairs.
