Linda Mills, Steve Mills and Donna Reynolds (Waikato) successfully defended their National Masters Triples title in dominating style.
Their closest match was against the North Taranaki family team of Bronnie Read, Colleen Riddock and Bill Read in the semi final. In other games, they were recording a 7 point+ margin over their opposition.
Donna was credited for being the ‘rock’ of the team, with her consistent lead bowls laying a great foundation for her team mates over the two-day tournament.
Congratulations Linda and Steve for achieving a third national title in two years, and to Donna for her second.
Well done, also, to Hawkes Bay’s Roger Davis, Christine Davis, and Glenis Cohen for reaching the final. They defeated Ray Wyatt, Brian Wyatt, and Ann Costar from Thames Valley in their semi final.
