𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗗𝗢𝗚𝗦 𝗪𝗜𝗡 𝗜𝗦𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗠𝗣𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗣 𝗙𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗦

Incredible scenes in Timaru today where Neville Lancaster and his team of Jock O’Connor, Nic Andrew, and Kelvin O’Connor claimed the Low Family Trophy for the Island Championship Fours.

After starting their day with a loss and a draw, Neville and his team of 1-5 year bowlers kicked into gear and never looked back.  On their run through to the final, they enjoyed wins over Robin Porter, Hayden Warnes and John Williams before meeting local hopes, John Whiting, David Mealings, Jenelle Lockyer and Mary Mealings.

Whiting had looked to be in an unstoppable form too, collecting wins against Robert Wilson, Daniel French, and Simon Thomas in post section.  However, they fell just short at the final hurdle, with Lancaster taking the win 9-6.
