2020 YOUNG GUNS SINGLES - PREVIEW

While the ‘Acorns’ of our game do battle in Wellington, up here in Hamilton the ‘Saplings’ gather for their annual pilgrimage to what is for some their weekend of the year.

Yes it’s the Young Guns, the 18-30 year old age group who not only play a competitive competition but also form friendships and have a great time in each other’s company.

This year offers a quality field of 20 lining up in the singles on Saturday, headed by Mat Black Teri Anderson.  She will face stiff competition from Island Representatives James Sullivan, Alex Reed, Mat Bassett and Amber McNally.  Add to that last year’s winner Matthew Farquhar.

The Singles kicks off at 9am Saturday, and the draw and result updates will be posted on Facebook.

The Final mid-afternoon will be live streamed on the NZIB Live Stream Site.

Full Field: Alex Reed, Aidan Zittersteijn, Amber McNally, Anjela Frost, Anthony Quellet, Ashleigh Tanfield, Ben Pound, Bronwyn McNally, Candace Andrew, Emma Ludeman, James Sullivan, Jeremy Markham, Josh Saywell, Mat Bassett, Matthew Farquhar, Nash Smith, Ryan Vincent, Sam Bryant, Sarah Jane Edgar, Teri Anderson.
